Self-care

After your session.

Scan the code at the bottom of the site, or keep this page. The artist’s instructions from the day come first. Message the studio if something doesn’t feel right.

Tattoo

  1. Leave the covering on for the time you were given.
  2. Wash with clean hands and a mild unscented soap. Pat dry. Don’t rub.
  3. Use a thin layer of the aftercare the studio recommended.
  4. Don’t pick, scratch, soak, or put the tattoo in direct sun while it heals.
  5. Wear loose clothing over it.

Piercing

  1. Clean with sterile saline. Skip alcohol, peroxide, and ointments.
  2. Don’t twist or remove the jewellery.
  3. Keep makeup, pools, and tight clothing off the piercing.
  4. Don’t change the jewellery early. Come in for a downsize when asked.
  5. Hands off, except when you are cleaning it.
